What If You Could Plan Your Next Incarnation?
Think of it as an extended vacation

“I have the uncomfortable suspicion that as soon as I die I will wake up and have to do this kind of nonsense all over again.” GCWrites
A member left that comment on one of my articles (they appear to have left the site) and it got me thinking.
What if we could direct operations if we get the chance to reincarnate?
I thought and thought but can’t decide who I want to be when I grow down.
It raises all kinds of questions:
- Who would I want to be my parents?
- Where would I grow up?
- What circumstances would be the most fun?
- Should I have a long life or a short impactful one?
- What challenges might I face?
- What would I fight for?
- Would I have children?
- What about other relationships in my current life?
- Maybe I would live in a previous time frame?
- How about a different world altogether?
That opens up all kinds of possibilities.
Reincarnation is the belief that we all come back to life after death in a new form or body. The word “reincarnation” comes from the Latin word “re-,” meaning “again,” and “incarnare,” meaning “to come again in flesh.”
The idea of reincarnation permeates many cultures, both ancient and modern. It’s a fundamental belief among certain groups. Whereas it may be an offshoot of a more general philosophy. For example, among people who have had near-death experiences.
In several cultures, reincarnation is tied to the idea of karma, the idea that what we do in life comes back to affect us in the next and the next.
Stuff karma. I like the idea of a peaceful, productive life
But peaceful and productive sound pretty boring. And to be perfectly frank, having had that kind of life forced on me over the last few years, I’ve had my fill of it.
So what’s the alternative?
I haven’t got a bloody clue.
Conclusion?
There’s no conclusion. The idea of reincarnation raises a lot more questions than can possibly be answered.
Have you ever wondered what happens after we die? Are our spirits extinguished and our existence extinguished with it, or is there another chapter waiting to be written?
Some people believe that we can come back to life again as another person or even an animal. If you’ve ever thought about what comes next after this life, you’re not alone. What do you think? Does our existence continue somewhere else? Or is it all a load of tosh?
